Fundamental Module

Objectives of the »Fundamental Module«

The objective of the Fundamental Module is to give participants an overview of all key aspects of fiber reinforced plastics, without going into great detail. This then allows the participants to select the most suitable Advanced Modules to take.
On completion of this module the course participants will be able to understand what factors are important for the manufacture and use of fiber reinforced plastics. Detailed and expert knowledge is then acquired by taking the Base Modules and relevant Advanced Modules.

Required knowledge for participation and target groups

No special prior knowledge is necessary for taking this module.
The target group for this module are employees who are responsible for fiber composite structures and components as well as all interested persons wanting to acquire a detailed overview of all aspects that are important when using fiber composites.

Important information

Each module of the Composite Engineer course can be taken individually, regardless of whether or not you intend to take sufficient modules to be awarded a Composite Engineer certificate. An online introductory learning program is used to give participants the necessary prior knowledge. Participants are given the access code after registering for the module.
