Refresh Old Knowledge And Acquire New Knowledge

The most important thing is to never stop asking questions - as Einstein once said. The refresher courses that the Fraunhofer IFAM offers at regular intervals also follow this credo. They are aimed at all participants from previous years of the respective DVS / EWF training courses who want to refresh their adhesive bonding knowledge and find out about the current status of the relevant qualification.

Refresher Courses in Adhesive Bonding Technology

»In many companies, bonding personnel usually always work on the same processes. In our refresher courses, participants can familiarise themselves with the latest developments in adhesive bonding technology, but also learn more about tried-and-tested methods,’« says Volker Borst, adhesive bonding technology consultant at Fraunhofer IFAM, explaining the idea behind the refresher.

What is a refresher? It is a continuous further training programme in attendance to obtain the company certificates of the companies with the processes relevant to adhesive bonding technology. This further training is required in all quality-assuring adhesive bonding standards.

The refresher programme combines repetitions of selected learning content with presentations on innovations or in-depth bonding technology topics to ensure a good balance between the tried and tested and the new.

Various networking opportunities will give participants the chance to discuss specific issues from their own company, among other things. During the event, many contacts are also made via the other participants or with the speakers in personal dialogue.

The Fraunhofer IFAM is one of the leading providers of training programmes for adhesive bonding technology. The extensive research environment provides participants with a unique learning environment: »We have experts on almost all topics here in-house who can also answer very specific questions, « explains Volker Borst. »Sometimes even at short notice during the next break. «

We offer the Bremen Bonding Days for English-speaking participants.
